Account data: When you create an account via Clerk, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics via Google Analytics (page views, session duration, device type). We use Sentry for error monitoring, which may include stack traces and browser metadata.

Content you create: Designs, articles, comments, and files you upload are stored in our database and file storage (Cloudflare R2).

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the breadboardhub platform
  • To display your public profile and designs
  • To send transactional emails (account changes, notifications you opted into)
  • To process payments via Stripe (we never see your full card number)
  • To detect and prevent abuse

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
  • Sentry — error monitoring
  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage
  • Neon — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Resend — transactional email

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Clerk session) and optional cookies for analytics (Google Analytics). You can disable analytics cookies through the cookie consent banner or your browser settings.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and content are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which will remove your profile and personal data. Public designs may remain available if they have been forked by other users.

6. Your Rights

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
